This family was so patient with some rescheduling that had to happen over the past year due to COVID, and I’m so glad we finally made this session happen! This was such an easy, laid back morning (despite some lack of sleep the previous night for the parents!). It really shows you how you don’t even have to plan anything special to photograph moments in your home. Just hanging out, do whatever you normally do, and everyone’s personalities, quirks, interests, and relationships between each other really do just naturally come out. And that’s such a huge part of what documentary family photography is really all about.
