End of Summer Water Play
It gets me every time! Whenever the kids are playing with water during play street, I have to run back inside and grab my camera. And then post about it. In a way, looking through these photos is kind of bittersweet. We don't have many summer play street nights left. Pretty soon the kids will be going back to school (anyone else nervous about this one?!), and the days will be getting shorter. The thought of getting hit by water balloons will become less and less appealing as the late afternoons get cooler. I don't even LIKE summer, but there's always a twinge of sadness wanting to hold onto these days while getting ready for another turning of the seasons.
