Play Street Night in Ballard!
I love our location here in Seattle, but I sometimes think we really lucked out on our block. We get along with our neighbors, and there are a ton of kids to play with. This makes the long days of summer when everyone is outside running to each other's houses especially fun (except when it's bedtime of course). Every Wednesday afternoon/evening our block is closed to traffic so the kids can play freely in the street, and the adults too. A variety of activities pop up, from lemonade stands, to 4-square, to hide-n-seek. And on the hottest days, there have been a few very epic water balloon fights.
